It’s been a great six months for the team at digital-creatives.com. The concept continues to grow with some fantastic new features being lined up for the new year. Thanks to those who have helped along the way, and especially to the extremely talented creatives who have shared their work and experiences with the site.

This will be the last post until the new year, so have a great Christmas break and we’ll see you in early in 2010!!

Rob is a student at the London College of Communication. He is currently building up a diverse portfolio that exhibits his diverse range of interests and skill set, ranging from animation and art direction to graphic design and illustration. Having just graduated with a First Class BA(Hons) degree, Niki Pilkington works between London & her studio in North Wales as a freelance illustrator, specialising in portrait commissions for personal requests, as well as more commercial projects for books, websites & magazines worldwide. She’s currently busy undertaking all types of new projects involving unlikely members of the public.

Her playful yet reserved style feeds off the everyday people & places she sees, which is why she enjoys the contrast between London and North Wales so much. Her illustrations aim not just to document, but also to understand why these subjects she chooses have drawn her to them in the first place.
