Josh is a multimedia artist from Melbourne, Australia. Quirk, cuteness and colour are three words he feels describe his work the best, which range from pen and ink drawings to digital animation. He says “It’s been a real kick so far to be able to do absolutely everything in my animation pieces, from the script to the backgrounds through to even the music, recording and mixing.”

Josh’s inspirations take many forms; pop art, nature, old video games and music are his usual suspects. For example his most recent animation started with the idea that he wanted a rather slapstick chase scene, the music for which would you believe actually came to him in a dream. He goes on to say “When I awoke in the middle of the night, I quickly whistled the melody into my mobile phone recorder so that the next day I could remember it and play it properly on guitar.”

A very talented creative, check out more of his work www.joshlegood.com

Currently setting up his own print studio out of his pokey flat in South East London, although not shy from working at the keyboard, Angus is keen to impress how much he enjoys a hands-on approach when making his artwork.

Drawing influence from a huge range of subjects, Angus places a strong emphasis on thorough research before creating an image. He traces his fondness for this way of working back to his childhood where he says he spent much of his spare time reading through reference books and copying out drawings from them.

Angus graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in June of 2009 and has since been taking his first steps into the competitive world of commercial Illustration.
