Retchy (aka Graeme Hawkins) is an animator, vj and sound designer based in Dundee, Scotland. He graduated from Norwich University College of the Arts with an MA in animation and sound design in 2008, went on to work on Sylvain Chomet’s The Illusionist and is now attempting to go freelance with his idiosyncratic, experimental approach to animation. His work varies from projection mapping, to music videos, to abstract experimental short films, to vj-ing and live puppetry performances, to creative and effective sound design.

He is currently working on a bespoke vj performance for singer/songwriter Esperi, while at the same time trying to refine the 3D Zoetrope technique he’s been developing into a short piece of ‘visual music’. He’s always on the lookout for interesting projects, collaborations and comissions, so check out http://www.retchy.com and drop him a line…

Courtney Pure is currently a traditional animation student at the School of Visual Arts, New York. Most of her works are hand drawn animations mixed with motion graphics. Her films have evolved from short 30 second pieces like “Pee Real Bad’ and “Seeds” to longer more developed pieces like the street art inspired film “Street Dimensions” below.

In addition to school, Courtney is doing freelance jobs in graphic design and illustration but hopes to find and prepare for animation jobs in the near future. Courtney’s next work is entitled “The Train Thief” which is inspired by a true story of an interesting train ride home.
